    Traineeships at the EU-OSHA

    Every year, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) offers a limited number of paid traineeships for a minimum of six and a maximum of 12 months, to nationals of EU Member States, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein (parties of the EEA agreement).

     

    The traineeships are based in:

    • Resource and Service Centre (RSC) Bilbao
    • Network Secretariat – Brussels Liaison Office (NET-BLO)
    • Communication and Promotion Unit (CPU) Bilbao
    • Prevention and Research Unit (PRU) Bilbao

     

    Eligible candidates should

    – be nationals of one of the EU Member States or EEA countries; 

    – have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (i.e. university education of minimum 3 years) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent. For declared on-going post-graduate studies an official declaration from the relevant university/institute must be provided;

    – have knowledge of at least 2 EU official languages, one of which must be English;

    – have very good knowledge of English (for applicants from Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein).

    Candidates can apply for one or more traineeship profiles by filling out a separate application form.

    Grants

    Trainees are awarded a monthly allowance of 1.363,26 EUR.

    Trainees whose place of selection (as indicated in their application form) at the beginning of the traineeship is more than 50 km from the place of employment are entitled to a reimbursement of the travel expenses incurred at the beginning and end of the traineeship.

    Sickness and accident insurance is mandatory. Trainees are responsible for their own insurance for the duration of their traineeship.
