The Schwarzkopf-Foundation Young Europe aims to develop politically conscious and responsible young individuals and to foster support for the European process.

Every year the Schwarzkopf Foundation awards, in co-operation with the European Youth Parliament the « The Young Europeans of the Year ».

This opportunity allows for the nomination of a young person between 18 and 26 years old, in the year of receiving the prize, who has demonstrated a commitment to improving Europe through efforts toward a pluralistic, open, and supportive society or in the fight against injustice and discrimination.

Candidates should have achieved outstanding results and aspire to actively advocate for their ideas in the future.

The award, totaling EUR 5,000 can be used for an internship at a European institution or to fund a project promoting European integration and solidarity

Deadline for nominations: 7 April 2024, 23:59 CEST.
