    Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions

    The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) are part of Horizon Europe (2021-2027), the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation. They are the European Union’s flagship funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions provide grants at all stages of researchers’ careers, from PhD candidates to highly experienced researchers, and encourage research cooperation across borders, sectors and disciplines.

    Actions

    MSCA Doctoral Networks: support for joint research training and/or doctoral programmes, implemented by European partnerships of universities, research institutions, and non-academic organisations.

    Deadline: 27 November 2024, 17:00 CET.

     

    MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships: support for experienced researchers of any nationality, undertaking mobility between countries, optionally to the non-academic sector, to support the mobility of researchers within and beyond Europe – as well as helping to attract the best foreign researchers to work in the EU.

    Deadline: 11 September 2024, 17:00 CEST.

     

    MSCA Staff Exchanges: international and inter-sectoral cooperation through the to support short-term mobility of research and innovation staff at all career levels, from the most junior to the most senior, including administrative and technical staff.

    Deadline: 5 February 2025, 17:00 CET.

    Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes (COFUND) that finance fellowships involving mobility to or from another country: to encourage the movement of researchers across borders and provide good working conditions.

    Deadline: 26 September 2024, 17:00 CET.

     

    MSCA and Citizens: aims to bring research and researchers closer to the public at large, to increase awareness of research and innovation activities and to boost public recognition of science and research education.

    Deadline: 7 October 2021, 17:00 CET.

     

    MSCA Researchers at Risk 2024: supports national and international organisations working with researchers at risk to enhance and professionalise their activities.

    Deadline: 14 January 2025, 17:00 CET.

    MSCA4Ukraine fellowships support displaced researchers from Ukraine to continue their work at academic and non-academic organisations in EU member states and Horizon Europe associated countries, while maintaining their connections to research and innovation communities in Ukraine.

    Deadline:

    MSCA Feedback to Policy initiative fosters stronger thematic links between MSCA projects, raising the visibility of their contribution to key EU policy priorities and exploring ways to maximise the programme’s impact.

    Deadline: 3 September 2024, 17:00 CET.

    Cooperation among MSCA National Contact Point:

    facilitates the trans-national cooperation between National Contact Points (NCPs) for the MSCA, including those established in Third Countries, to identify and share good practices and raise the general standard of support to applicants, taking into account the diversity of actors and experiences.

    Deadline: 4 September 2024, 17:00 CEST.

    MSCA International Cooperation 2024: fosters international cooperation in MSCA in Horizon Europe, through a dedicated support action to complement and ensure coordination between existing promotion channels at local level, and ensure consistency with formal R&I policy dialogues at bilateral and regional levels.
