    Model Nato Youth Summit

    Model Nato Youth Summit is the largest simulation of the NATO decision-making process, bringing together young people from across the world in Brussels, Belgium from 8th to 13th July 2013.
    Participants have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of diplomatic relations and be part of a large scale international event.

    The Summit aims to promote NATO’s structures and mechanisms, while creating a platform for the young generation to debate on current social and political international issues.
    All the debates during the Model Nato Youth Summit (MoNYS) 2013 will focus on the theme: Defining NATO capabilities towards 2020 – Meeting Future Global Security Challenges through Cooperation, Collaboration and Crisis Management.

    Who can apply:
    Young people between 18 and 28 years old, students, recent graduates or anyone involved in a student-initiative NGOs. There are no nationality restrictions for applying as a journalist and an individual delegate. However, for the positions of individual delegates, the priority will be given to the applicants from Latin America, African, Asia and Australia.
    There is a nationality restriction for applying as a member of a delegation (limited to nationals of Central and East European Countries, Baltic Countries, Balkans, Caucasus, North European Countries, West European Countries, Russian Federation, Kingdom of Belgium, Canada and USA).
    All applicants should be proficient in English.

    Roles
    Journalists for MoNYS Press Room, Delegations and Individual Applicants.
    Each role has explicit background requirements and involves specific responsibilities during the week-long event.

    It is important to check the guidelines for more information before preparing your application: Applications for every position should be accompanied by a motivation letter describing your previous experience, achievements and qualifications.
