    Illustration competition "Being a European Citizen: what does it mean to you?"

    As part of the European Year of Citizens 2013, the European People’s Party (EPP) and the EPP Group in the Committee of the Regions have launched a new Illustration competition on the theme: « Being a European Citizen: what does it mean to you? ».

    The competition is open to citizens of EU member-states and Croatia, residing in the EU or Croatia over the age of 18 capable of creating a quality graphic design, drawing, painting, diagram, cartoon, infographic, or photograph based on the creative proposition: EU Citizenship from a local perspective.
    Entries must be submitted together with a one line description of the piece. The accompanying text can be in any of the EU official languages and Croatian.

    Prizes
    The top two entries will be awarded with an iPad (first place) and iPad mini (second place) and both of them with a visit to Brussels during the Open Days- European Week of Cities and Regions in October 2013. There will be no cash alternative.
    The best graphic designs, drawings, paintings, diagrams, cartoons and photographs will be used to illustrate the EPP Group book on « A vision of EU Citizenship for the year 2020 ».
    Entries could also feature in future digital and print material from the EPP Group in the CoR.
