The European Youth Forum is looking for five young people who will form the European Youth Capital 2027 Focus Group, making sure that active youth participation is at the core of the EYC 2027 selection process.

The Focus Group will meet in Ghent, Belgium on 23 and 24 July 2024. 

How it works

The Focus Group will dive deeper into the specific aspects of each city’s application and develop recommendations that will help the jury decide the winner.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the European Youth Forum.

Eligibility 

• EU citizens
• Have experience in fostering young people’s participation in cities
• Have implemented European youth policies at a local level, or through the European Youth Capital title
