The European Prize for Women Innovators celebrates the outstanding achievements of women entrepreneurs driving positive change for people and the planet through their innovative ventures.

Eligibility

All applicants must:

• Be a woman legally established in an EU Member State (including overseas countries and territories, OCTs) or a country associated to Horizon Europe.
• Be the founder or co-founder of an innovative company registered at least 2 years before the call year.
• Those applying for the Rising Innovators category must be under 35.
• Those applying to the EIT category, must have a direct link to the EIT Community/ one of the existing Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).

Prizes

There are three prize categories:

1. EIC Women Innovators: open to women founders and co-founders from the EU and Associated Countries. Three prizes of EUR 100 000, EUR 70 000 and EUR 50 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
2. ECI Rising Innovators: open to promising innovators under the age of 35. Three prizes of EUR 50 000, EUR 30 000 and EUR 20 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
3. EIC Women Leadership: open to women with a direct link to the EIT Community. Three prizes of EUR 50 000, EUR 30 000 and EUR 20 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
