Erasmus+ Traineeships Abroad for Students
Erasmus+ supports traineeships, work placements and internships abroad at any workplace. This opportunity is open to students enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme Countries at short-cycle Bachelor and Master level as well as to doctoral candidates and recent graduates.
- develop entrepreneurial and creative skills;
- improve foreign language skills, interpersonal and intercultural teamwork skills
- gain a deeper understanding of another country and culture
Traineeships abroad can receive Erasmus+ financial support from 2 to 12 months. Students can also combine a traineeship with a study period abroad, and can also opt for blended mobility, combining a short physical stay abroad (up to 30 days) with a virtual period.
Erasmus+ traineeships must be relevant to the degree-related learning needs and are open to any student enrolled in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education.
