The ASEF Young Leaders Summit, Leadership in Society 5.0, the youth platform connecting young people with decision-makers and leaders from Asian & European countries, from July to December 2024.

The ASEFYLS Capacity Building Programme provides participants with a platform to network, collaborate, learn, speak up, and explore Beijing and Hangzhou, China or Budapest, Hungary.

Programme 

1. Knowledge Building Phase: 2-30 July 2024, Virtual (in-depth exploration into Leadership and Society 5.0 through training and thematic experts)
2. In-person Training: Either in Beijing or Hangzhou, China (10-18 August 2024)
3. or Budapest, Hungary (6-12 October 2024) opportunity for people-to-people dialogue exchanges, networking, and learning in a local context
4. Action phase: August-December 2024, Virtual (turning theory into action, participants will organise events in their local communities to share their learnings with larger audiences.)

Who can apply

• Students, entrepreneurs, academics, and young professionals, between the ages of 18 and 30
• Citizens of any of the eligible Asian and European Countries
• Play a leading role in a Youth Organisation/Student Association (not exclusive to board members, executive committees)
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written)

Accommodation, meals and travel subsidies will be provided to the selected participants.

No registration or participation fees.
