ASEF Journalists’ Seminar
The Asia-Europe Foundation is organising the 13th ASEF Journalists’ Seminar (ASEFJS13), to be held on 8-9 November 2022 in Singapore.
The training-oriented event, themed « Media Best Practices in the Digital Age », will offer young journalists and media professionals the chance to meet and share their professional experiences and perspectives.
ASEFJS13 will explore the topic “Media Best Practices in the Digital Age” in 3 modules around challenges common to journalists from Asia and Europe.
Through expert trainers’ presentations, panel discussions, case studies, and examples of the latest innovative media tools, participants will enrich their journalistic repertoire with perspectives from Asia and Europe.
Who can apply
Eligible applicants must:
- be under 35 years old
- be a citizen of an ASEM country
- have a proven track record as journalist from traditional and non-traditional media
- have a proficient command of English
ASEF will cover the participants for:
- Return economy class flight
- Visa fees, if applicable (up to $75)
- Local transportation ($80)
- Travel insurance (up to $100),
- 3 nights single room hotel.
