The EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership is looking is inviting young people to join the Young People, Democracy and Climate Action Symposium, to be held at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg on 24-26 September 2024. 

The Symposium will focus on how young people engage with the climate crisis, the main emerging priorities, and challenges, and how youth work responds to this issue.

Who can apply

• Citizens or residents of one of the Council of Europe member states (or Kazakhstan and the Holy See);
• Young activists and youth organisations;
• Youth work practitioners, teachers, trainers or educators;
• Policy makers or civil servants (European, national, regional or local level);
• Specialists and experts from other fields supporting young people engaged in climate justice movements;
• Fluent in English.

Conditions

The organisers will cover travel and visa costs, meals and accommodation.
