    Youth in Action for Peace

    Join the Youth Action for Peace international mouvement and look for international volunteering projects across the world.

    YAP contributes to the involvement and sending of socially, culturally or economically disadvantaged youth at risk to non formal education projects aimed at stimulating their personal growth and capacities inside the community.

    YAP – Youth Action for Peace Italia is member of the two biggest networks of International Voluntary Service: CCIVS (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service) and ALLIANCE of European Voluntary Service Organisations.

     

    How you can get involved

    • Volunteer Camps – Workcamps – for adults: Every year more than 2000 projects in over 60 countries around the world (Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, Central and South America) for 18+ volunteers
    • Volunteer Camps – Workcamps – for minors (14-17 years) in Europe: It is possible to take part in an international volunteer camp even if you are under 18 years of age. These camps, so-called « teen camps », are aimed at young volunteers aged 14 to 17 and take place in Europe.
    • Participants need to take part to the whole duration of the project.
    • Special attention is given to young people with fewer social and economic opportunities.

    There are participation fees.
