The Young Audiences Music Awards, launched by Jeunesses Musicales International, celebrates innovative musical productions for young audiences worldwide.

Entries include unique performances aimed at engaging and inspiring musical curiosity in children and youth aged 0-18.

 

How to apply

Applicants need to submit the application form and a production DVD. Finalists must supply a 2-minute promotional video. Non-English productions need subtitles or a detailed summary.

 

Prizes

Best Small Ensemble for Young Audiences (€1000);

Best Large Ensemble for Young Audiences (€1000);

Best Opera for Young Audiences (€1000);

Best School Concert for Young Audiences: (€1000);

Best Participation Project with Young Audiences:(€1000);

Public Choice Award (€1000).

The nominees will be announced on 17 August 2024 and voting will be open to the public until 17 September. Nominees will attend the YAMawards Ceremony on September 17th in Bodø, Norway, where the winners will be revealed.
