The Intercultural Innovation Award, a partnership between the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the BMW Group, selects and supports innovative grassroots projects promoting intercultural dialogue and fostering a more peaceful and inclusive world through mutual respect, diversity, and rejection of violent extremism.

Eligibility

Registered not-for-profit organisations operational for at least 2 years by March 2024, managing a project focused on promoting intercultural dialogue and inclusive societies. They should be willing to expand their actions with UNAOC, the BMW Group, and Accenture. Organisations having previously received UNAOC support are ineligible. Projects not selected in previous editions are encouraged to reapply, except for participants of previous UNAOC Marketplace of Ideas or BMW Group Awards.

Award

Ten organisations will will receive funding, training, capacity-building, customized support, and tailored mentoring for their projects.
