The Award promotes innovative and creative storytelling that highlights the fight against climate change and values high-quality reporting on climate and environmental issues.

Who can apply

Journalists or teams are invited to submit their stories in one of the following categories:

• Data-driven Visualisation
• Fighting Climate Misinformation
• Pinpoint Award for Investigations
• Storytelling & Solutions
• Emerging Talent

Stories

• must have been published on a European-based media outlet between 1 June 2023 – 05 June 2024;
• print, online, video and multi-platform storytelling formats;
• can be in any language but accompanied by a text-only translation in English.

Prizes

€2,400 for each category.

Two awarded team members must be available to travel to Copenhagen on 10 October 2024 to attend the Award ceremony. Travel and accommodation costs covered by the organisers.
