    M100 Workshop

    M100 Young European Journalists Workshop is part of the annual international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. It offers young journalists the opportunity to participate in workshops focusing on the theme “Reporting on Climate Change and its significance for Democracy” between 10th-14th September 2023 in Potsdam, Germany.

     

    Who can apply

    Young journalists, bloggers or scholars, between 20 and 30 years old from Europe, the countries of the Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).

     

    How to apply

    Applicants should submit a text in English (max 3.000 characters including spaces) to one of the following subjects:

    • What is the importance of covering climate change in your newsroom/working environment? Give a brief assessment of the importance of climate change reporting in your country.
    • What is your own assessment of the impact of climate change on journalism? Should journalism change because of climate change or not? Please justify your decision.

    Applicants should also include their CV, a short motivational statement and send it in one PDF (max 2 MB).

    Only applications in English can be considered.
