Young Champions of the Earth celebrates young people around the world tackling climate change, biodiversity and nature loss, and pollution.

Who can apply ​​​​​​​

• young people aged between 18-30 (young artists, scientists, economists, communicators and entrepreneurs)
• residing in one of these global regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and West Asia
• with at least 6 months experience working on a big idea to protect or restore the environment
• individuals who submitted applications in the previous cycles of the Competition are entitled to do so again.

Prizes

• US$20,000 in seed funding,
• a chance to attend high-level UN meetings,
• access to a community of global experts,
• intensive training and tailored mentoring to bring their big environmental ideas to life
• public recognition.
