Time to Move Contests

Time to Move campaign is a collection of events organised by Eurodesk all over Europe during the month of October to promote mobility opportunities for young people.
For this campaign, Eurodesk has launched its contest to collect young people’s input from all over Europe.

 

How does it work?
The contest is structured along two challenges: 1) photo challenge; 2) illustration challenge.

 

Who can take part?
Young people between 13 and 30 years old from one of the eligible countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey or Ukraine.

 

How to take part

PHOTO CHALLENGE 1: « Greetings from Europe »
What amazes you? Introduce us to your favourite places on the continent or the best spots around your hometown.
Capture a photo, upload it here together with a short description (max.10 sentences) explaining what that place means to you, and have the chance to win some valuable prizes!

Prizes

  • The public voting winner (photo & description with the most votes at the end of the contest) will receive an Eastpak luggage and Time to Move merchandise.
  • The 5 public voting preferences (photo & description with the most votes at the end of the contest, right after the most voted winner) will receive an Eastpak backpack and Time to Move merchandise.
  • The Eurodesk Prize winner (selected by Eurodesk after the Time to Move campaign ends) will receive a Polaroid and Time to Move merchandise.

 

ILLUSTRATION CHALLENGE 2: « Design your Time to Move »
Time to Move is all about: exploring ways to travel around Europe, learning about opportunities in other countries, or becoming aware of international projects to join. But what makes you excited about discovering Europe? Is it the landscapes? The people? The thrill of meeting new cultures? The idea of travelling freely between countries? Create an illustration that best represents the Time to Move campaign and what it means to discover Europe.

Prizes

  • The public voting winner (illustration with the most votes at the end of the contest) will receive a Polaroid and Time to Move merchandise.
  • The 5 public voting preferences (illustrations with the most votes at the end of the contest, right after the most voted winner) will receive an Eastpak backpack and Time to Move merchandise.
  • The Eurodesk Prize winner – among the group aged 13 – 18 y.o – (selected by Eurodesk after the Time to Move campaign ends) will receive an Action Camera and Time to Move merchandise.
  • The Eurodesk Prize winner – among the group aged 19 – 30 y.o – (selected by Eurodesk after the Time to Move campaign ends) will receive 5 days within one-month Interrail ticket and Time to Move merchandise.

 

Public vote
Public voting is ongoing while the competition is open on each Challenge’s page.

 

Prizes
For each challenge two winners will be named:

  • The public voting winner (the submission with the most votes at the end of the contest) will receive a Time to Move merchandise pack including a water bottle, a T-shirt, and a Time to Move Card Game.
  • The Eurodesk Prize winner (selected by Eurodesk after the Time to Move campaign ends) will receive an Eastpak luggage and a 6-months Spotify Premium voucher.
