Digital Citizenship Competition

The digital world is changing fast and with it comes challenges like disinformation, cyberbullying, online hate, and privacy risks. These affect not just individuals but our whole society. Do you want to help build a fairer, safer digital future? Show your creativity and make an impact by designing a poster or making a short film that spreads the message of digital citizenship across Europe and beyond!

Who can participate

Everyone, whether you’re a pro designer, a student, or just love creating, this is your chance to express what digital citizenship means to you.

Nationals or residents of the Council of Europe member states, plus the Holy See and Kazakhstan

Three entries per category (poster and/or video)

All entries must be original, unpublished, and not submitted to any other competition

How to participate

Create a poster (70×100 cm) or a short film (1–5 minutes, MP4) exploring one or more of the 10 key digital citizenship topics like privacy, media literacy, or online participation. Inspire others to be responsible digital citizens.

Prizes

Your work shown in an international exhibition

A free trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia for the exhibition opening (all expenses paid)

A certificate and global visibility on Council of Europe platforms

Application deadline: 14 September 2025 (23:59 CEST).

Winners announced: 22 October 2025
