Film4Energy Challenge
The European Commission is inviting schools across the European Union (EU) to create short videos about the importance of energy efficiency and the benefits of saving energy for their school, commune or city.
The aim of the competition is to convince people in their community about the benefits of saving energy and using energy-efficient alternatives for heating, cooling, transport, and other daily activities.
Who can participate
The competition is open to groups of students from all EU countries between the ages of 12 and 15.
They can participate with their schools based in a EU country.
How to apply
Students will have to create a video (up to 1 minute long) about how they can save energy in their daily lives, teaching their relatives, friends, neighbours and the whole world about the benefits of energy efficiency and encouraging the use of energy-efficient alternatives for heating, cooling, transport, and other daily activities.
Entries can only be submitted by the school (e.g. by a teacher and/or the head teacher), not by the students themselves.
Only one video per school can be submitted. It should be in MP4 format only.
Videos should be produced and submitted in any of all official EU languages (except Gaelic and Maltese).
Deadline: 31 March 2022.
