The European Parliament, the European Youth Forum and Jeunesses Musicales International are inviting all European emerging bands to enter the contest and have the chance to perform at the European Youth Event (EYE2025) on the 13 & 14 of June in Strasbourg, France!

The European Youth Event (EYE) will bring together at the European Parliament thousands of young people from all over the European Union and beyond, to shape and share their ideas on the future of Europe.

Who can apply

The contest is open to young musicians aged 16-30, residing in:

– EU member states;

– EU candidate countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine;

– EFTA countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

Each band member must be under 30 years old. and should play music that is accessible to a wide audience.

How to apply

Bands should apply online via Mubazar.com.

Each band should submit at least 2 and a maximum of 5 songs in video (Youtube or Vimeo) or audio (.mp3) format. 

Add 1 video of a live performance (YouTube or Vimeo) – optional.

Prizes

Each winner will win an all-expenses paid trip to perform (30 minutes) in front of thousands of young Europeans from all over Europe.

Winners will also receive a cash prize of 1000€ per band (max 500€ per solo artist).

Winners will be informed by April 2025.
