
The European Union Intellectual property Office organises traineeships for young university gradueates and professionals to provide them with first-hand experience of the work of the European Union (EU) and the chance to participate in intellectual property administration.
- Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme (monthly grant for 2024-2025: €1 200 in Alicante and €1 400 in Brussels or Luxembourg)
- traineeships for young professionals (monthly grant for 2024-2025: €1 200 in Alicante and €1 400 in Brussels or Luxembourg)
- traineeships for junior IP employees (monthly subsistence allowance for 2024-2025: €1 200)
- unpaid traineeships.
Applicants must
- be nationals from both EU Member States and non-Member States.
- have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (undergraduate studies) and have obtained a degree or equivalent before the traineeship starts;
- have a University Diploma in one of the following areas;
- have a working knowledge of one of EUIPO’s five official languages (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish), equivalent to level B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; and preferably a good knowledge of another official EU language.
Conditions
The duration of the traineeship is of 12 months and 2 weeks, starting between 1 September and 15 October each year.
Trainees shall be entitled to a monthly grant.
