New European Bauhaus Festival
The European Commission is inviting organisations and individuals to participate in the New European Bauhaus Festival, taking place in Brussels from 9 to 13 June 2026. This unique event invites you to propose activities, projects, or satellite events that embody the spirit of the New European Bauhaus and contribute to shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and beautiful future.
Theme
The 2026 Festival will focus on the power of democratic engagement in building inclusive and sustainable communities across Europe and worldwide.
The Festival is structured around four main pillars:
Forum: a dynamic platform for engaging discussions and idea exchange, where diverse voices come together to explore the New European Bauhaus vision and its impact on society.
Fair: an innovative laboratory and exhibition space showcasing cutting-edge projects, prototypes, and initiatives that promote the core values of the New European Bauhaus: sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion.
Fest: a vibrant celebration blending culture, art, and social connection. This part of the Festival honors freedom of expression and welcomes radical, innovative, and disruptive ideas and visions.
Satellite Events: independently organised events and initiatives taking place in Brussels and across the European Union (and beyond), all aligned with the values and mission of the New European Bauhaus.

- Workshops, talks, or panel discussions for the Forum
- Exhibitions, showcases, or demonstrations for the Fair
- Artistic or cultural performances and activities for the Fest
