Experience Languages

The language stays abroad offered by the Service national de la jeunesse (SNJ) give young people aged 16 to 21 the opportunity to immerse themselves in German and French and bring these languages to life through personal and enriching experiences.
Through fun activities, excursions and encounters with other young people, the languages are naturally and spontaneously used to express oneself, exchange ideas and communicate with others. These experiences allow them to rediscover and deepen their language skills, while gaining the confidence to navigate daily life in another country and in another language with ease and self-assurance. At the same time, they explore new cultures and build friendships that often go beyond the language and the stay itself.
From beginner to advanced – whether it is for one week or one month, during school holidays or throughout the year, from city life in Germany to the south of France – Sproochen Erliewen (Experience Languages) helps young people find the programme that best suits them. With personal guidance and pedagogical support, they accompany them at every stage of their language stay.
