The summer school at the centre for media and pluralism and media freedom will provide the opportunity for 20 journalists and media practitioners to learn about the latest developments regarding the implications of AI technology for journalism and the broader information landscape.

The summer school will take place from 8-12 July 2024 in Florence, Italy.

The working language of the summer school is English.

Who can apply

Early and mid-career journalists and other stakeholders in the news industry residing in the EU and in the Creative Europe countries.

Up to 20 scholarships will be offered, covering travel expenses, accommodation for 5 nights, tuition fees, all course materials, access to the EUI library, wi-fi access at the EUI, social activities, lunches and coffee breaks on lecture days.
