Youth advocacy for democracy and human rights
The Council of Europe, in partnership with the European Youth Forum and the German Federal Youth Council are organising the training course: « Youth Advocacy for Democracy and Human Rights. »to take place from 27 to 31 January 2025 in Strasbourg, France.
The course aims to empower young activists to advocate for human rights, democracy, and the implementation of Council of Europe standards at local and national levels.
Who can participate
- Young people aged 18-30 holding a position in their organisations
- Representatives of national youth councils; organisations, or networks Committed to the values of the Council of Europe: democracy, human rights, and the rule of law;
- Fluent in English
- Residents of a European Cultural Convention member state
Financial support
Travel expenses and visa fees will be reimbursed.
Board and lodging will be provided.
