The European Commission Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) launched the #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards to recognise organisations using the power of sport to increase social inclusion for disadvantaged groups.
Who can apply ?
Organisations established in the Eramus+ programme countries, public or private, commercial or not-for-profit, that have successfully developed sport projects aimed at social inclusion of ethnic minorities, refugees, people with disabilities, youth groups at-risk, or any other group that faces challenging social circumstances.
How to apply ?
- Organisations will have to submit their projects, including material which indicates the year and country in which the work was produced.
- Projects can include young people with a migrant background, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged, marginalized or underprivileged groups, people with a disability, individuals with difficult social backgrounds, etc.
- Organisations have until the 23rd of July 2019 to apply
- Projects that are still in the development phase and have not yet been completed are not eligible.
What is to win?
The three winners will receive € 10,000 each and the 6 runners-up will receive €2,500 each.
