Deadline for the traineeship period March-July 2018 is 31st August 2017 (12:00 pm CET).
DG Translation of the European Commission offers a small number of paid traineeships each year. They last five months and are open to graduates looking to gain some professional translation experience within the European institutions. University graduates from all over the world should be able to translate into their main language (normally their native language) from two other official EU languages. Their main language must be one of the official EU languages, their 1st source language must be English, French or German, and their 2nd source language can be any of the official EU languages.
Trainees receive a grant of EUR 1,159,40 per month, and reimbursement of travel expenses. Accident and health insurance can also be provided.
