The European Commission launched a consultation about how European Union (EU) countries work together on policy for young people. Give your input on how useful and effective you think EU youth policy is.
This consultation focuses on:
the EU Youth Strategy (2010-2018), which aims to provide more and equal opportunities for young people in education and the job market and to encourage young people to play an active role in society.
the EU Council Recommendation on the mobility of young volunteers in the EU, focusing on creating more cross-border volunteering opportunities to ensure that every young person who wishes to volunteer has the opportunity to do so.
It is important to hear what you think about these initiatives, and how you think cooperation on youth policy can be improved.
The consultation is available here. It should take you about 10 minutes to complete.
The results will be used to plan and improve future EU youth policy measures.
Because youth policy matters! Fill it by 16 October 2016.
