Get involved, become an EU Aid Volunteer, make a difference!

The EU Aid Volunteers initiative brings volunteers and organisations from different countries together to work on humanitarian projects worldwide.

The EU Aid Volunteers programme offers you the opportunity to volunteer full-time in a humanitarian aid project around the world for between one and 18 months. If you have no time to volunteer away from home, online volunteering opportunities give the flexibility to support humanitarian aid projects wherever you are, fitting in with your other commitments.

If you want to be an EU Aid Volunteer you need to be an EU citizen or long-term resident of an EU Member State and you must have a minimum age of 18. Online volunteering will be open to volunteers of any nationality.

EU Aid Volunteers deployed to humanitarian aid projects will have training, accommodation and travel costs covered, and may have the possibility to undertake additional training in a European humanitarian organisation before deployment.
