Google Science Fair 2012

Online science competition seeking curious minds from the four corners of the globe. Young scientists, from 13 to 18 years old, are invited to join the fair and submit interesting, creative projects that are relevant to the world today. They can compete on their own or in a team of two or three. Entrants can submit projects in any one of the following categories: Computer Science & Math, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Behavioral & Social Sciences, Flora & Fauna,     Energy & Space, Inventions & Innovation, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Electricity & Electronics. A special category, Science in Action, will be awarded to a project that addresses a social, environmental, ethical, health or welfare issue.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive a scholarship from Google and a trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions. For the other winners there will be scholarships and interesting prizes.

Deadline: 1st April 2012.
