    Next Generation of Science Journalists Award

    To support the recognition of emerging young medical science journalists and their contribution towards public understanding of science,  the M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities and National Academies have launched the “Next Generation of Science Journalists” Award.

    Young science journalists, at the beginning of their career with a maximum of 5 years’ experience. Submissions will be accepted from every country, however, the content should be English. Translations will be accepted if the original article is attached.
    Entrants should submit their article on the main topic of « Health », which must have been published after 1 January 2015, to: science-journalist-award(at)worldhealthsummit.org. The article may be published in any form: print, digital, acoustic or visual. Audio and video content is to be made available via web-link. A short CV (one page), and a scan of a current passport must accompany the submission.

    The top five young science journalists will be invited to participate in the World Health Summit (WHS) 2016  held from 9th to 11th October 2016 at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, Germany, and experience a unique learning and networking opportunity with some 1000 high-ranking participants from academia, politics, the private sector, and civil society. Additionally, each winner will receive 500 Euro to recompense travel expenses.
