    Erasmus+Key Action1-Mobility Project for School Education Staff

    This is an EU grant to schools or institutions (providing general, vocational, or technical education on any level from pre-school to upper secondary education) to receive support to carry out projects promoting the mobility of school education staff in another country.

    The activities funded by the Erasmus+ under this action are:
    1. teaching assignments allowing teachers or other school education staff to teach at a partner school abroad.
    2. staff training supporting the professional development of teachers, school leaders or other school education staff through: a) the participation in structured courses or training events abroad; b) a job shadowing/observation period abroad in a partner school or in any relevant organisation active in the school education field.

    In order to receive grants, schools and institutions must be established in a Programme Country:
    – 28 Member States of the European Union;
    – Non EU Programme Countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

    The duration of the project should be between 1 and 2 years.
    The activity should last from 2 days to 2 months, excluding travel time.

    Any teachers, school leaders, librarians and other staff from pre-primary, primary and secondary education institutions in programme countries can take part to this activity.

    Where to apply
    – National Agency of the country in which the applicant organisation is established.

    Deadline: 2 February 2016, 12:00 midday (Brussels time), for projects between 1 June and 31 December of the same year.

    If a second round is organised, applicants have to submit their grant application by 4 October at 12:00 (midday Brussels time) for projects starting between 1 January and 31 May of the following year.
