Volunteers for the World Village Festival, Helsinki, Finland,28th-29th May 2016

World Village Festival is a free festival for the whole family. The event is open to all and a meeting place offering tastes of different cultures and surprises from all over the world. The festival has been organised since 1995.

There is approximately 80 000 festival visitors every year.

The event isfocusing on tolerant multiculturalism, development cooperation, global issues and expanding one’s possibilities of affecting everyday life. This year the main theme is justice, while the regional focus is on Asia.

As every year, they are searching for volunteers.

Volunteers take care of a large part of the practical arrangements during the event and are an important part of the festival. As compensation they offer a warm meal per working day, a festival T-shirt and a work reference. In addition, a thank you party will for volunteers will be held after the festival in June.

Anyone who is over 18 years old and interested in voluntary work can take part at the festival as a volunteer.

Volunteers can apply by sending their registration by 17th April 2016.
