Youthreporter.eu ( a website run by JUGEND für Europa for everyone who’s spending time abroad as a volunteer, university student, intern or trainee) has launched the 8th Erasmus competition.
To be in with a chance of winning the 8th Erasmus+ “E, you’ll need to post your entry on the topic of “My Special Person – Our Story” on youthreporter.eu by 29 February 2016.
Was there someone who supported you before, during or after your placement? Who was always there to listen to you? Why not take part and write a report, essay or feature and include some pictures? You could interview the person or write a letter to them. Did meeting them open up a new perspective or new questions for you? What stories and experiences do you share?
It’s up to you whether your entry is an interview, a letter, a feature or an essay but it would be nice if you could include one or two photos as well.
1st place: 800 euros
2nd place: 600 euros
3rd place: 500 euros
4th place: 300 euros
Who can take part?
The competition is open to young people between the ages of 13 and 30 from all over Europe. We would love to hear from you if, for example, you’re on placement abroad with the Erasmus+ programme (or have been in the past) or participated in a youth exchange programme, the European Voluntary Service or a different project. School pupils and students in higher education who are on placement with Erasmus+ or have been in the past are also welcome to take part.
